Department of Student Activities and Programs

The Department of Student Activities and Programs aims to organize and implement a wide range of cultural, social, athletic, artistic, and scientific activities for the university students, in addition to providing guidance and counselling. Through its diverse events and programs, the department contributes to enriching student's intellectual growth, shaping and refining their personalities, and developing their talents and creative abilities across various fields.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing approved plans and programs.
  • Enforcing regulations and guidelines related to extracurricular activities and programs.
  • Preparing the annual student activities plan in coordination with college activity coordinators.
  • Supervising the execution of cultural athletic, artistic and scouting among other student activities.
  • Overseeing the organization of the annual student activities closing ceremony.
  • Promoting awareness of sports, culture, arts, and health education among university students.
  • Preparing periodic reports on the department's activities, achievements and suggestions for performance improvements.
  • Fulfilling students interests and wishes through structured and educationally guided engagement by providing a diverse range of students clubs
